Idk what it is with spring for me that makes me put my knitting needles away (or well… Not entirely away) and instead sit down by the loom (or thr sewing machine). But here we are again. The seasons of crafting doing the circle thing it does.

Does anyone remember the little bedside carpets I started in November 2023? Barely me either. Which is apparent with how different in size they came out :p But I’m really happy with them anyway. And thankful it used up almost all that handspun Gotland that I spun while learning to spin.

I wove this overshot style, where you alternate one pick pattern thread and one pick tabby throughout. And while I love the fabric it created, I’m not sure I’ll do this type of structure again for a long while. I just couldn’t get into the rhythm of it while threadling. Idk. I’m happy I tried it, and I’m happy with the result. But now all I crave is some simple twill straight draw XD
